Over his 10-year IT career that spanned across different industries, Mady had been a programmer, a team lead, and a project manager. He discovered his passion lied with helping people, motivating them to achieve more, supporting them when they were feeling low. His interest in positive psychology led him to pursue psychology studies. Later, digital health research opened avenues to use his IT skills in the field of his passion, mental health and wellbeing.
During his PhD, he researched on mindfulness apps and obtained a deep understanding of digital tools for mental health. Ever since, he has been a part of various research projects and has developed apps for mental health, especially in the areas of positive behavior change, depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.
Recently, in an ICF accredited coaching course, he learned about how people, unaware, are developing unhealthy digital habits. He wants to empower people to take back control of their digital life, use digital devices for improving their wellbeing and live digitally well.
